	Change furnace filters monthly to keep your system operating efficiently and to minimize dust. With central air conditioning, you should continue to do this monthly even through the hot summer months.
	Prevent hard-water stains on your shower doors by thoroughly cleaning them with a lime-removing product, then applying a rain-guard finisher (like those used for windshields) that will help the water sheet off smoothly.
	To thoroughly clean mini-blinds, remove them from their frames. Spray them well with a multi-purpose cleaner/grease remover and allow them to sit for a few minutes. Use a soft cloth to wipe off the cleaner, then wash with a mild soapy solution, rinse with clean water and towel dry.
	Clean stainless steel fixtures and sinks using a commercial stainless steel cleaner. Don't use steel wool pads, as these will remove the shiny finish of your stainless steel sink.
	Clean kitchen and bathroom cabinets like you would any other wood furniture - with lemon oil or commercial furniture polish. Use a product like Old English furniture polish to hide small nicks or scratches that happen.
	Sweep out the garage to avoid bringing dirt onto your home's floors.
	Clean inside window surfaces and sills.
	Check smoke and carbon monoxide detectors for proper operation.
